Steps to Clean Olympus Microscope Lenses

First determine whether you really need to clean the CCD. If there is not a lot of dust, then wait. It is troublesome to remove stains. The more stains are rubbed, the more stains will appear. Therefore, if it does not affect the image (generally it is easier to see when the aperture is small, and it will disappear when the aperture is increased), please try not to clean it. Cleaning items include:

1. Highly pure ethanol - used to wipe the surface of the lens or color filter (or use a mixture of ether and absolute alcohol)

2. Blowing ball - used to remove dust and foreign matter (inferior blowing balls will have particles falling off inside after the rubber ages and will be blown out with the air flow)

3. Remove long-fiber lens paper - before wiping the lens with lens paper, be sure to clean your entire hand with soap. Remember not to leave any oil stains, especially the oil naturally secreted by the human body.

4. Fir stick or pine stick - wrap lens paper around its end and use it to wipe the objective lens. Breathing or blowing dust onto the lens with your mouth will bring saliva to the lens and corrode the lens. Using lens paper or deerskin to dry wipe the lens can easily scratch the lens.

Cleaning steps:
1 Use a blower to blow off the dust on the lens.

3 If there are any attachments that cannot be blown off, you can use a "lens paper brush" to gently brush them off. That is, after the lens paper is unsealed, roll one piece into a small roll and tear it in the middle. Use the "brush" naturally formed by the cross section to brush off the dust on the lens. The remaining lens paper should be sealed to avoid dust.

5. If there are still stains, you can use a "lens paper stick" to gently wipe them, and then blow them with a hair dryer.

7. If there are still stains, use a lens paper stick dipped in cleaning fluid to wipe it gently, let it dry a little, and wipe the mirror surface in a spiral shape from the center. Do not go back and use it again, and then blow with a hair dryer.
