Working principle of AC and DC regulated power supply

Introduction
The AC and DC stabilized power supply is a high-precision DC linear power supply with continuously adjustable voltage and current, and automatic conversion between voltage and current stabilization. The DC output voltage can be continuously adjusted from 0 volts, stable and reliable. The output current can be selected arbitrarily, and it has current limiting protection and long-term short-circuit protection. When the power supply works in a stable voltage state, the constant current part is the protection circuit; when it works in a steady current state, the voltage constant part acts as a voltage limiter. The two are mutually protected to ensure safe and reliable power consumption.

This series of AC and DC regulated power supplies are divided into two series: single output and dual output. The dual output power supply can output different voltage values and can be connected in series or in parallel to form a positive and negative power supply or to expand the output current capacity of the power supply. , controlled by the main power supply when connected in parallel.

The power supply also has small size, good performance, and beautiful appearance, and can be widely used in industrial production, college laboratories, research institutes, post and telecommunications and automation equipment.

working principle
The AC/DC regulated power supply is composed of transformer step-down, rectification and filtering, reference power supply circuit, reference voltage circuit, voltage stabilization, steady current comparison amplifier circuit, adjustment circuit and steady current sampling circuit, etc. When the output voltage fluctuates due to the change of power supply voltage or load current, the fluctuating signal is compared with the reference voltage by the voltage stabilizing sampling circuit, and the error signal obtained is amplified by the comparison amplifier, and the output voltage is adjusted to Desired point.

Technical Parameters

1. Input voltage: AC220V±10% (AC380V±10%) 50-60Hz

2. Output voltage: DC0-15V, 0-30V, 0-60V, 0-120V, 0-150V, 0-300V, 0-500V, 0-600V, etc. (continuously adjustable voltage regulator)

3. Output current: 1A, 3A, 5A, 10A, 15A, 20A, 30A, 50A, 80A, 100A; (continuously adjustable, stable voltage and current)

Instructions

1. Connect the power plug to AC220V: (for some power supplies with an input current exceeding 10A, the power cord at the input end should be handled by the user according to the site, and the cable connector must be properly crimped to prevent ignition due to poor contact)

2. Turn on the power switch;

3. First adjust the output voltage knob with no load, observe the output voltage display table, and adjust it to the use voltage value. At the same time, observe whether there are abnormal phenomena such as abnormal noise, ignition, and odor inside the machine. When the no-load test is completed and normal, then Accessible load.

The meter generally configured by this machine is a 3-digit or 3.5-digit meter.

To accurately display the output value, please use a precision measuring instrument for calibration.

4. Connect the positive pole of the load to the positive output terminal (red terminal), and the negative pole to the negative output terminal (black terminal). If the ammeter exceeds the rated value and the steady current indicator is on, it means that it has been overloaded or short-circuited. The load should be adjusted to restore the instrument. normal.

If it is used as a constant current source, first turn the regulator knob clockwise to the maximum, and at the same time turn the regulator knob counterclockwise to the minimum. Then connect the load, and then adjust the steady current adjustment knob clockwise to make the output current reach the required steady current value. At this time, the constant current indicator light (cc) is on.

5. When used as a regulated power supply, the regulated current adjustment knob must be adjusted clockwise to the maximum, and the current limiting protection point can be set arbitrarily at this time. The setting method is: turn on the power supply, connect an appropriate variable load, and adjust the load resistance to make the output current equal to the current value of the current limiting protection point. At this time, adjust the steady current adjustment knob respectively, so that the steady current indicator is in a critical state, and then adjust the current potentiometer, so that the steady current indicator just goes out. At this time, the current limiting protection point is set. When the load is applied or the load is started, the output voltage drops greatly. It may be that the machine is working in a current-limiting state or the load current exceeds the maximum current that the machine can withstand.
