Talking about some welding skills in electric soldering iron welding

One, before using the newly purchased soldering iron, heat it with electricity, dip it in rosin, and touch the soldering tin wire with the soldering surface of the soldering iron head, so that the soldering iron head is evenly coated with a layer of tin.
In this way, it is convenient to prevent the acceleration of oxidation on the surface of the soldering iron tip during soldering and make the soldering performance better.
If the old soldering iron tip is severely oxidized and blackened, the surface oxide can be removed by rubbing with a copper wire ball to expose the electroplated metal luster, and then re-tinned before use.
The electric soldering iron uses a 220V AC power supply, and special attention should be paid to safety when using it.
The following points should be carefully done:

1. It is best to use a three-pole plug for the electric soldering iron plug. Make sure the case is properly grounded.

2. Before use, carefully check whether the power plug and power cord are damaged. And check whether the tip of the soldering iron is loose.

3. Do not strike hard when the soldering iron is in use. To prevent falling. When there is too much solder on the tip of the soldering iron, wipe it off with a damp sponge or cloth. Do not throw it around, so as not to burn others.

4. During the soldering process, the soldering iron cannot be placed anywhere. When not soldering, it should be placed on the soldering iron stand. Note that the power cord cannot be placed on the tip of the soldering iron to prevent accidents caused by scalding the insulation layer.

5. After use, cut off the power supply in time and unplug the power plug. After cooling down, put the soldering iron back into the soldering toolbox.

Two, Soldering Auxiliary Flux
When soldering, solder wire, cleaning agent, and flux are also required.
1. Solder wire. Used when soldering electronic components, generally use solder wire containing rosin.
This kind of solder wire has a relatively low melting point and contains rosin flux, which is very convenient to use during soldering.

2. Flux. The commonly used flux is rosin or rosin water (dissolving rosin in alcohol). The use of flux can help remove oxides on the metal surface, facilitate soldering, and protect the tip of the soldering iron.
Solder paste can also be used when soldering larger components or wires.
But it is corrosive to a certain extent, and the residue should be removed in time after welding.

3. Detergent. The cleaning agent generally used is the ratio of alcohol to water. After soldering, clean the solder residue on the surface.
Do not use it without ventilation, it may easily cause alcohol poisoning.

Three, welding aids
In order to facilitate some operations in welding, needle-nose pliers, partial-mouth pliers, tweezers and knives are often used as auxiliary tools. We should learn to use these auxiliary tools correctly.

Four, welding technology
After the pre-welding treatment is done, the welding can be officially carried out.
