Talking about the possible failures of gas detectors
Long-term use of the gas detector, or improper storage or use, etc., may cause the gas detector to malfunction and reduce its service life. So what are the common gas detector faults?
Can't count
If the gas detector has been used for a long time, or has not been calibrated for a long time, there will be problems with incorrect display. We all know that gas detectors are mainly detected by internal sensors. The sensor has a certain service life. After a certain number of times, the sensitivity of the sensor will decrease, thus affecting the detection results. Also, test results can be affected if calibration is not performed for a long time.
Gas detectors cannot inhale.
This type of problem mainly occurs on pump-aspirated gas detectors. A small suction pump inside the detector is used to suck in gas for detection. Once the suction pump is damaged, the gas detector cannot be suctioned. This problem is easy to fix, just replace the suction pump with a new one.
Gas detector malfunction. Such failures are prone to occur in special working environments,
For example, there is a lot of dust and oil in the detection environment, which will contaminate the gas detector and cause malfunction. This environment requires cleaning of the gas detector.
