Ten precautions for the use of composite gas detectors

The composite gas detector can detect single or multiple gases, and can exert excellent results in many workplaces. It has a wide range of applications and is an important instrument to ensure production and personal safety. It has the advantages of fast speed, high measurement accuracy, good stability and repeatability. But there are still many things that consumers need to pay attention to. Today, I will share with you ten precautions for the use of composite gas detectors.

1. Before using the composite gas detector, please read the product instruction manual carefully, and it is strictly forbidden to open the cover and replace the sensor with power on site.

2. When we install, debug, and set up the composite gas detector, it must be performed by professionals, and non-professionals are not allowed to operate.

3. The calibration inspection of the composite gas detector should be carried out regularly, and the sensors that have exceeded the effective service life and have faults should be replaced in time.

4. It is strictly forbidden to shock the sensor with gas higher than the measurement range. It is strictly forbidden to expose the instrument to a high-concentration corrosive gas environment for a long time to prevent damage to the sensor. It is strictly forbidden to use it in high temperature and high humidity environment. If the environment humidity is high, it must be equipped with a filter dehumidification device.

5. Prevent the instrument from falling from a high place or being subjected to severe vibration and shock. Users are not allowed to turn on the machine to repair or replace parts without authorization.

6. Charging must be carried out in a safe place, and use the special charger that is equipped with this machine. It is strictly forbidden to disassemble, charge or replace the battery in dangerous places. The battery must be replaced with the same type of battery in a safe place.

7. When used in an explosive environment, the device should not be touched and wiped. If it is necessary to wipe and touch, it should be done in a safe place and wipe the shell with a wrung wet cloth, and it is strictly forbidden to wipe the shell with a dry cloth.

8. During normal use, maintenance and cleaning of the meter, avoid ignition hazards caused by electrostatic charges. Before the portable composite gas detector enters the dangerous area, the human body is first discharged with static electricity, and then the instrument is carried into the scene.

9. It is not allowed to replace the components or structures that affect the explosion-proof performance at will, so as not to affect the explosion-proof performance.

10. When the composite gas detector cannot work normally, first check whether the battery voltage is normal.
