Ten precautions for use of composite gas detectors
Composite gas detectors can detect single or multiple gases and can produce excellent results in many workplaces. They have an extremely wide range of applications and are important instruments to ensure production and personal safety. It has the advantages of fast speed, high measurement accuracy, good stability and repeatability.
1. Before using the composite gas detector, please read the product instruction manual carefully, and it is strictly prohibited to open the cover and replace the sensor while the power is on.
2. When we install, debug, and set up the composite gas detector, it must be carried out by professionals, and non-professionals are not allowed to operate it.
3. Calibration inspections of composite gas detectors should be carried out regularly, and sensors that have expired or are faulty should be replaced in a timely manner.
4. It is strictly forbidden to use gas higher than the measurement range to impact the sensor. It is strictly prohibited to expose the instrument to high-concentration corrosive gas environments for long periods of time to prevent damage to the sensor. It is strictly prohibited to use it in high temperature and high humidity environments. If the environment is used with high humidity, a filter and dehumidification device must be installed.
5. Prevent the instrument from falling from a high place or being subjected to severe vibration. Users are not allowed to turn on the machine to repair or replace parts without authorization.
6. Charging must be done in a safe place and using the special charger provided with this machine. It is strictly prohibited to disassemble, charge or replace the battery in hazardous locations. Batteries must be replaced with batteries of the same model and done in a safe place.
7. When used in explosive environments, the equipment should not be touched and wiped. If it is necessary to wipe or touch, it should be done in a safe place and the casing should be wiped with a wrung-out wet cloth. It is strictly forbidden to use a dry cloth to wipe the casing.
8. Avoid the risk of ignition caused by electrostatic charge during normal use, maintenance and cleaning of the instrument. Before the portable composite gas detector enters the dangerous area, the human body first discharges static electricity, and then carries the instrument into the scene.
9. It is not allowed to replace components or structures that affect the explosion-proof performance at will, so as not to affect the explosion-proof performance.
10. When the composite gas detector cannot work normally, you should first check whether the battery voltage is normal.
