The difference between the contrast properties of infrared thermal imagers and night vision devices
1. Infrared thermal imager: It uses infrared thermal imaging technology to detect the infrared radiation of the target object, and uses signal processing, photoelectric conversion and other means to convert the temperature distribution of the image into a visual image.
2. Night vision device: an external sight at night with an image intensifier as the core device, and does not use infrared searchlights to illuminate the target. However, by using the reflected light of the target in low light, the visible light image that the human eye can perceive on the fluorescent screen is enhanced by the image intensifier to observe and aim the target.
