The method of using a multimeter to find and connect a three-phase asynchronous motor into a triangle

Let's set each pole phase group first. No matter how many poles your motor has, each group of coils has a "head" and "tail". The definition of "head and tail" is the direction of all coils according to the direction of the current. All agree. After connecting all the phase groups in series, there are finally six lines left, that is, each phase has a "head" and a "tail". We define the head of the first item as the number 1, the head of the second item as the number 2, the head of the third item as 3, the tail of the first item as 4, and the tail of the second item as into 5, and define the tail of the third item as 6. In order to ensure that the phase difference is 120 degrees, we swap the definitions of the head and tail of the second term.

If it is a motor lower than 3KW, we can connect the tails in series to form a star connection. If the motor is higher than 3KW, we need to connect the first in parallel to form a delta connection. The line sequence of the delta connection is 1 and 6 in parallel, that is, the first The head of the item is connected in parallel with the tail of the third item; 2 and 4 are connected in parallel, that is, the head of the second item is connected in parallel with the tail of the first item; 3 and 5 are connected in parallel, that is, the head of the third item is connected in parallel with the tail of the second item. The three groups are respectively connected to three-phase electricity, which is delta connection. If the motor has a 6-position terminal, as shown in the figure below, connect it with copper sheets after wiring according to this definition.

Use a multimeter to measure the three motor phase groups. The DC resistance value is the same. Just find the head and tail according to the above method. The three heads are on one side inside the motor, and the three tails are on the opposite side. It is easy to find .

The easiest way is to use the on-off position of the multimeter to measure the six wires between two pairs. The explanation of the connection is to find the head and tail of the three groups of the same group of windings, and the 1 and 2 of the same letter are the beginning and the end, and then define the upper end. It is W2, U2, V2 and the lower end is U1, V1, W1.
