First of all, we must know how to grasp the water quality PH of aquaculture; water is the life of fish. Because the acidity and alkalinity of water in different places are different, it is recommended to breed ornamental fish suitable for local water.
For example, before feeding food in the morning, pump out the excrement of the fish the night before and inject new water. In this way, good water quality can be guaranteed, and the pH value of the water can be adjusted; there are natural methods and pharmaceutical methods for adjustment. The natural method means that the new water with high alkalinity in aquaculture will become old water after a period of time in aquaculture, and the water will be slightly acidic. This can be achieved by planting aquatic plants, setting up sunken trees, strengthening filtration, and reducing water changes. . The medicine method is: sodium bicarbonate or sodium borate can be used to increase the pH, and sodium dihydrogen phosphate can be used to lower the pH. Note that when adjusting, it is best to calculate first and then adjust. The method is to increase the measurement gradually in a small amount first. It is best to measure while adding the medicine. It should also be noted that the medicines adjusted up and down cannot be added in excess successively in the same tank of water. If there is no need for breeding, it is recommended not to improve the acidity and alkalinity of the water, unless the water quality in your location is very unsuitable for breeding ornamental fish. In particular, it should be pointed out that the use of chemical adjustment is not recommended.
The second is to adjust the pH scientifically. For example, the living environment of Luo Han fish and other fish should have good and stable water quality. After going to the fish shop to observe, the Luo Han fish or other tropical fish raised by the merchants have not undergone so-called pH adjustment, but they are in very good condition. . Note that although we can artificially change the pH value, we cannot control it accurately. When using a pen-type pH meter, be sure to consult the manufacturer or supplier, and carefully refer to the instructions. Can be used or not. In the same way, fish farming and aquaculture-related dissolved oxygen meters (portable dissolved oxygen analyzers) are recommended, because during the breeding period, it is necessary to measure the oxygen content of the water, and reasonably control the underwater environment, which is in line with the healthy growth of fish.
At present, most foreign ornamental fish that are not native to China have been in China for many years.
