The structure and application of thermocouple temperature measuring gun

 

Rapid temperature measurement thermocouple is used to measure the temperature of molten steel and high-temperature molten metal. It is a disposable consumable thermocouple. Its working principle is based on the thermoelectric effect of metal, using the temperature difference generated at both ends of the thermocouple to electrically measure the temperature of molten steel and high molten metal.


The temperature measuring gun consists of a gun barrel, a gun head (plug-in connector), a handle, and a connecting compensation wire. It has a simple structure and is easy to operate. It can be used with the KZ-602/604 type S index, B index, R index, and W index. Indexed fast micro temperature measuring thermocouple. It is an indispensable tool for temperature measurement in steel plants, foundries, and iron plants. The lengths are 1.5 meters, 2 meters, 2.5 meters, 3 meters, 3.5 meters, and 4 meters. The structure of a fast thermocouple is mainly composed of a temperature measuring head and a large paper tube. The couple head mainly has positive and negative couple wires welded to the compensation wire. The compensation wire is embedded in the bracket. The bracket is covered with a small paper tube. The couple wires are supported and protected by quartz. *An anti-slag cap is installed on the outside. All components are put into the mud head and bonded into a whole body with refractory filler. They cannot be disassembled, so it is a one-time use.


Instructions
1. According to the measurement object and scope, select the appropriate protective paper tube length and suitable temperature measuring gun.


2. Install the fast thermocouple on the temperature measuring gun and return the secondary instrument pointer (or digital display) to zero. This indicates that the contact is good and measurement can be carried out.


3. The appropriate depth of inserting the fast thermocouple into the molten steel is 300-400mm. Do not measure on the furnace wall or slag when measuring. It must be fast, stable and accurate. When the secondary instrument gets the result, the gun should be lifted immediately and the fast thermocouple should be The immersion time in molten steel should not exceed 5 seconds, otherwise the thermometer gun may be easily burned.


4. After the temperature measuring gun is taken out of the furnace, remove the used thermocouple and install a new one. Wait for a few minutes to prepare for the next measurement. It is not allowed to measure and disassemble continuously, otherwise it will cause temperature fluctuations.

Products must be handled with care when loading and unloading. During transportation, they must not be affected by moisture. Products should be stored at a relative temperature of no more than 80%, with air circulation and without harmful gases that may cause product corrosion. The entire box should be placed in a dry warehouse.
