The two types of infrared night vision equipment are active and passive; what makes one type better than the other?
Active night vision system: It uses a low-light camera or a low-light camera to capture the infrared light reflected by the target and transform it into a video signal on the monitor screen. There are two different types of passive night vision systems. One uses all of the very faint natural light, such as moonlight, starlight, night sky light, etc., to magnify and enhance the visual purpose; this sort of night vision device is also known as a low-light night vision device. The other method involves using a far-infrared sensitive detector to find the target's heat radiation. Thermal imager is another name for this kind of night vision gadget.
