This type of regulator with feedback control closed-loop system, so the stability is high, the output waveform is good. However, due to the use of magnetic amplifiers with large inertia, so the recovery time is longer. And because of the use of autocoupling, so the anti-interference ability is poor.
Induction AC voltage regulator: by changing the phase difference between the secondary voltage of the transformer relative to the primary voltage, so that the output AC voltage is stabilized device. It is similar to the structure of the winding asynchronous motor, and the principle is similar to the induction regulator. Its voltage stabilization range is wide, the output voltage waveform is good, the power can do hundreds of kilowatts. Sliding AC voltage regulator: change the position of the sliding contact of the transformer, so that the output voltage is stabilized device, i.e. servo motor-driven auto-regulating AC voltage regulator.
