The working characteristics of UpS uninterruptible power supply

① After being connected to work, it can provide stable and reliable AC power without noise or interference to the electrical load.

② Usually, UpS is in an online working state, obtaining electrical energy from the main power source as load input, and isolating surges and electronic interference in the power line from the load.

③ In online mode, UpS ensures the stability of the load input voltage by compensating for voltage fluctuations in the main power supply. Utilize transformer tap switching to provide voltage adjustment for maximum work efficiency.

④ During the tap change process, the load temporarily switches to battery power to ensure the continuity of load power supply.

⑤ When the online voltage is abnormal or power is cut off, UpS will switch to battery power and output pure sine wave AC voltage. And it is uninterrupted at all times within the rated load range.

⑥ When the online voltage returns to normal state, UpS will automatically switch to the main power supply state.

The working principle of UpS uninterruptible power supply

UpS is a power protection device that includes an energy storage device, with an inverter as the main component and stable voltage and frequency output. It mainly consists of several parts such as rectifier, battery, inverter, and static switch. 1) Rectifier: A rectifier is a rectifier device that converts alternating current (AC) into direct current (DC). It has two main functions:

Firstly, convert alternating current (AC) into direct current (DC), filter it and supply it to the load or inverter; Section

2, Provide charging voltage to the battery. Therefore, it also serves as a charger; 2) Battery: A battery is a device used by UpS to store electrical energy. It is composed of several batteries connected in series, and its capacity determines the duration of its discharge (power supply). Its main function is to convert electrical energy into chemical energy and store it inside the battery when the mains power is normal. When the mains power fails, convert chemical energy into electrical energy to provide to the inverter or load; 3) Inverter: Simply put, an inverter is a device that converts direct current (DC) into alternating current (AC). It consists of an inverter bridge, control logic, and filtering circuit; 4) Static switch: Static switch, also known as static switch, is a contactless switch that is an AC switch composed of two thyristors (SCR) in reverse parallel. Its closing and opening are controlled by a logic controller. It is divided into two types: conversion type and parallel type. The conversion switch is mainly used in systems powered by two power sources, and its function is to achieve automatic switching from one power source to the other; Parallel type switches are mainly used for parallel inverters and mains or multiple inverters.
