A gas detector is an instrumentation tool for gas leakage concentration detection. It mainly uses gas sensors to detect the type of gas present in the environment. There are several classifications of gas detectors as follows:

② classification by detection principle, combustible gas detection catalytic combustion type, semiconductor type, thermal conductivity and infrared absorption type, etc.; toxic gas detection electrochemical type, semiconductor type, etc.; oxygen detection electrochemical type, etc..
③ According to the use of classification, there are portable and fixed.
④ According to the classification of the place of use, there are conventional type and explosion-proof type.
⑤ Classified by function, there are gas detector, gas alarm and gas detection alarm.
Classified by sampling mode, there are diffusion type and pump suction type.
