Three factors to consider when purchasing a combustible gas detector
The combustible gas detector is mainly used to detect the concentration of combustible gas at the accident site. It can detect single or multiple combustible gas explosion lower limit concentrations (percentage content), and is a portable equipment that issues an alarm. According to the working principle, it is divided into two types: catalytic type and infrared optical type. The flammable gas detector is a detection device installed and used in industrial and civil buildings that responds to single or multiple flammable gases. A qualified combustible gas detector can greatly protect the personal safety of employees and avoid major accidents. There are three factors to consider when purchasing:
1. It depends on whether it has stability. This is a factor that must be considered. The smaller the value of zero offset and full amplitude offset, the better.
2. Check whether the combustible gas detector is easy to identify. Whether the numerical display area is large enough, and whether the alarm sound is loud enough to distinguish it from the background noise. Whether the alarm light can be identified from various angles, whether it can continuously display the signal with the change of the measured gas concentration, and stop the alarm after confirmation or taking countermeasures.
3. Check whether the reliability is good. Generally speaking, the average life of a combustible sensor is about 1 to 2 years. If it is in a high-concentration combustible environment for a long time, the life will be reduced.
