Tips for using metallographic microscopy:

1. Cleaning of the lens
When maintaining the lens of a metallographic microscope, use a hair dryer or soft medical gauze to clean the dust. If there are more stubborn stains on the lens of the metallographic microscope, such as fingerprints, oil, etc., you can use a clean soft cotton cloth, lens paper, or medical gauze dipped in pure alcohol to gently wipe them off.

It is prohibited to clean the incident lens at the bottom of the binocular cylinder or the prism surface inside the eyepiece cylinder with xylene. Pure alcohol and xylene are prone to combustion, so special attention should be paid to being careful of catching fire when turning on or off the power. The anti-static function of general metallographic microscopes is very good, so there is no need to worry about electrostatic ignition.

When the metallographic microscope is not in use
For metallographic microscopes, when not in use, please cover them with a plastic cover and place them in a dry place to prevent mold growth. For metallographic microscopes, we particularly recommend storing the objective lens and eyepiece in containers such as dryers and placing desiccants in them.

3. It is necessary to prevent moisture and foreign objects
We use metallographic microscopes or other microscopes. Do not place the microscope in a damp place. If water falls on the microscope, immediately turn off the power switch and wait until it is processed and confirmed to be dry before use.

4. Regular inspections
When using a metallographic microscope, regular inspections are generally required to maintain its performance. Check if the optical path, lens, electrical and other aspects are working properly, promptly detect and handle them.

Application of metallographic microscope:
Used to identify and analyze the microstructure of various metal and alloy materials, widely used in factories or laboratories for casting quality identification; Inspection of raw materials or metallographic analysis after material processing; And conduct research on surface phenomena such as surface spraying.

This instrument is an inverted metallographic microscope. As the observed surface of the specimen coincides with the surface of the worktable, it is independent of the specimen height and is easy to use. The instrument has a compact structure, beautiful and generous appearance, a large supporting area of the instrument base, and a sturdy bending arm, which makes the center of gravity of the instrument low, stable and reliable. Due to the 45 ° tilt between the eyepiece and the supporting surface, the observation is comfortable.

Metallographic microscope is mainly used to identify and analyze the internal structure and structure of metals. It is an important instrument for studying metallography in metallurgy and a key equipment for industrial departments to identify product quality. It is mainly used to identify and analyze the microstructure of various metals and alloys. It is applied in factories or laboratories for casting quality identification, raw material inspection, or research and analysis of metallographic structure after material treatment.
