Tips for using the ETCR7100A ultra-large caliber clamp ammeter
、To prevent inaccuracies when measuring current, the position of the carrier fluid should be set in the middle of the jaws.
、Choose an appropriate range after estimating the size of the measured current before the measurement. If the current magnitude is unknown, choose the greatest range and then reduce it as necessary to accommodate the pointer without changing the range while the measurement is being made.
、 The jaws need to be kept clean and in good condition in order for the reading to be accurate. If there is dirt, clean it with gasoline before measuring.
、 When measuring currents below 5A, it is best to measure them in circles to ensure accuracy.
、To avoid electric shock and short circuit, the clamp meter is unable to measure the current of bare wires.
、 Place the range division knob in the maximum range position after taking the measurement.
