Toxic Gas Detector Solutions
In the petroleum, metallurgy, chemical and other industries in some of the production process will be carbon monoxide, sulfur dioxide, hydrogen sulfide and other toxic combustible gases and benzene, aldehydes, ketones and other organic vapours are produced in large quantities, once the leakage or accumulation in the surrounding environment, it will probably cause a fire, an explosion or personal poisoning and other malignant accidents. In order to ensure production and personal safety, reliable combustible gas and toxic gas detector should be used. Toxic gas detectors generally use special sensors for detection, both qualitative and quantitative detection. Most of these sensors are electrochemical sensors, which are the most common sensors for detecting toxic and hazardous gases.
Design Solution
This product is a high performance toxic gas detector with microprocessor as the core. This project adopts a high-precision electrochemical toxic gas detector, which can monitor and display the gas concentration situation in the industrial site in real time, and when there is a toxic gas leakage, the detector can respond promptly and quickly and send out an alarm signal. The system of toxic gas detector consists of power supply adjustment module, sensor module, signal conditioning module, input module, display module, alarm module and microcontroller module. If the concentration exceeds the set warning threshold automatically sends out an alarm to remind the staff to take appropriate protective measures. Key input and LCD module constitute the human-computer interaction interface, which is convenient for users to complete the setting of various parameters of the detector.
1,Power conditioning module
The system adopts low-power design, the power supply circuit adopts 9 V battery power supply, and the conditioning module mainly stabilises the power supply voltage at 3.3V.
2,Sensor and conditioning module
Sensor as the core detection element of the gas detector, its performance parameters determine the detection performance of the instrument. For the detection of toxic and hazardous gases, electrochemical sensors are used, and the conditioning circuit mainly amplifies the small signal of electrochemical sensors to the standard signal.
3, Input Module
For the design of key input, the system adopts 4 keys, through the function multiplexing to achieve the alarm mode setting, alarm threshold setting and instrument zero setting.
4, Display Module
Considering that the detector is battery-powered, the system has a low-power LCD as the display, which shows the value of detected gas concentration, battery power and other information.
5, Alarm module
The alarm adopts sound and light synchronous alarm design.
6,Microcontroller module
The use of high-performance micro-controller, taking into account the product upgrade function, reserved part of the interface.
