The solution is to increase the static friction, so that it is greater than the gravity of the mirror tube or mirror arm itself.
For oblique cylinder and most of the binocular microscope coarse adjustment mechanism, when the mirror arm automatically slides down, can be used in both hands to coarse adjustment of the handwheel held to the inside of the stop pulley, both hands are tightened in the clockwise direction, you can stop the slide. Mirror tube automatically down, often give people the illusion that the gear and rack with too loose caused. So add shims under the rack. In addition, due to the rough adjustment mechanism for a long time in disrepair, lubricant dry, lift will produce uncomfortable feeling, and even can hear the friction sound of the machine parts. At this time, the mechanism can be removed and cleaned, reassembled after greasing.
2, fine-tuning part of the troubleshooting
Fine-tuning part of the most common failure is stuck and failure. The fine-tuning part is installed inside the instrument, and its mechanical parts are small and compact, which is the most delicate and complex part of the microscope. Failure of the fine adjustment part should be repaired by professional technicians. Do not dismantle it without sufficient certainty.
3, the objective lens converter troubleshooting
The main failure of the objective lens converter is the positioning device failure. Generally positioning spring plate damage (deformation, fracture, loss of elasticity, spring plate fixing screws loose, etc.) caused. Replacement of the new spring plate, do not tighten the set screw, should be in accordance with this section "three (b) 2" for the first optical axis correction. After the axis is merged, then tighten the screws.
