Ultrasonic wire altimeter using principle
The transmitting device of the altimeter transmits the modulated compressed pulse at a certain pulse repetition frequency through the antenna. After reflection, the returned pulse is received by the receiver, and the time difference between the moment when the pulse is transmitted and the moment when the pulse is received is measured. From this time difference and the returned waveform, the distance can be measured.
