Usage method of induction measuring pen
The induction measuring pen can measure both AC and DC. When measuring a DC battery, you need to touch the other pole of the battery with your other hand, and the range displays 12v, 24V, 36 √, 110v, and 220V. When measuring whether there is electricity or not, the voltage can be directly displayed, which is the same as the old neon bubble pen. When measuring the break point of a cable, connect the suspected wire to the live wire and use the pen contact to move it on the cable. If there is no break, the pen will display 12V. When the break point is reached, the display will disappear, move back and forth, determine the position, and find the break point. This is the biggest advantage of an induction pen compared to the old neon bubble pen, but remember to connect other wires to the zero line, Otherwise, due to the induction effect, there will be electricity everywhere, and the breakpoint cannot be found, which may not be detected for high-quality new cables.
Inductive testing pen is a good thing, convenient and practical. For those who are not accustomed to using a multimeter, it is a great measuring tool.
