Usage Methods of DC Regulated Power Supply

 

A DC power supply is a power device that can provide stable DC voltage and current, used to supply working power to electronic devices and circuits. It consists of multiple components and can provide the required voltage and current output through appropriate adjustments and operating methods.

 

Components of DC stabilized power supply:

1. Input source: The input source of a DC stabilized power supply is usually AC power supply, which converts AC power into DC power through a transformer and rectifier circuit.

2. Transformer: Transformers are used to convert the voltage of the input power supply into the required voltage. Transformers are usually composed of iron cores, primary windings, and secondary windings.

3. Rectification circuit: The rectification circuit is used to convert alternating current into direct current. It is usually composed of rectifying diodes, filtering capacitors, and filtering resistors.

4. Voltage regulator circuit: The voltage regulator circuit is used to control the stability of the output voltage. Common voltage stabilization circuits include reference voltage sources, feedback circuits, and voltage regulators.

5. Output circuit: The output circuit is the part of the DC stabilized power supply that provides voltage and current to the load. It usually consists of regulating resistors, output capacitors, and protection circuits.

 

Instructions for using a DC stabilized power supply:

1. Check the power supply equipment: Before using a DC stabilized power supply, the appearance and working condition of the power supply equipment should be checked first. Ensure that the power supply device is not covered or damaged by any objects, and that the power switch is turned off.

 

2. Connect input power supply: Insert the AC power plug into the AC power socket, and then connect the AC power supply connection line to the input interface of the DC stabilized power supply.

 

3. Set output voltage and current: Adjust the output voltage and current knobs of the DC stabilized power supply as needed to set the output

voltage and current to the desired values.

 

4. Connect the load: Connect the positive pole of the load to the positive pole of the DC power supply, and connect the negative pole of the load to the negative pole of the DC power supply. Ensure that the connection is secure and not loose.

 

5. Power on: Turn on the power switch of the DC stabilized power supply and enter the working state.

 

6. Adjust the output voltage and current: According to actual needs, gradually adjust the output voltage and current of the DC stabilized power supply through the knob to gradually approach the desired values. During the adjustment process, it is necessary to pay attention to the changes in the load to avoid excessive pressure or current on the load.

 

7. Monitoring output: Use testing instruments such as digital voltmeters or oscilloscopes to monitor the output voltage and current of the DC stabilized power supply. Ensure that it remains stable within the required numerical range.

 

8. Power off: After use, first turn off the power switch of the DC stabilized power supply, then unplug the AC power plug and disconnect the input connection to the DC stabilized power supply.
