For sound level meters used to measure noise, the response of the meter head can be divided into four types according to sensitivity:

4. "Peak holding": the rising time of the gauge needle is less than 20ms. It is used to measure the pulse sound with short duration, such as gun, gun and explosion. The measured value is the peak value This is the maximum value.
