What are the common DC stabilized power supply capacitors?

1. Filter capacitor: By using a filter to remove unnecessary AC components, the DC power supply connected between the positive and negative electrodes of the DC voltage can be smoothed. Large-capacity electrolytic capacitors are usually used, and are also used in regulated DC power supplies, other types of small capacitors are connected in parallel with the circuit to avoid high-frequency AC.

2. Decoupling capacitor: connected in parallel between the positive and negative poles of the power supply of the amplified DC power supply circuit to prevent parasitic oscillation caused by positive feedback caused by the internal resistance of the power supply.

3. Bypass capacitor: DC stabilized power supply circuit for AC and DC signals. Either connect a capacitor in parallel across a resistor, or connect a specific point in the DC regulated power supply circuit to a set AC signal with a common potential, or in the case of a pulsed signal, attenuate the AC signal component by: voltage drop to avoid resistance.

4. Coupling capacitors: In a DC regulated power supply circuit with AC signal processing, the DC power is separated to connect the signal source and the signal processed DC regulated power supply circuit, or as a stage between two amplifiers and an AC signal or pulse The inter-connection does not affect each other because it allows the signal to pass through the DC operating point of the DC regulated power supply circuit of the pre-amp and post-amp.

5. Tuning capacitor: connect to both ends of the oscillation coil of the resonant DC stabilized power supply circuit, and select the oscillation frequency.

6. Pad capacitance: auxiliary capacitor, connected in series with the main capacitor of the resonant DC regulated power supply circuit. When set, the frequency range of the vibration signal is narrowed, and the vibration frequency at the low frequency end is significantly higher.

7. Compensation capacitor: auxiliary capacitor, which is connected in parallel with the main capacitor of the resonant DC regulated power supply circuit. By adjusting this capacitor, the frequency range of the vibration signal can be expanded.

8. Neutralizing capacitor: Neutralizing capacitor: connected in parallel between the base and emitter of the transistor amplifier, it forms a negative feedback network and suppresses the self-oscillation caused by the capacitance between the transistors.

9. Frequency stabilization capacitor: It plays a role in stabilizing the oscillation frequency in the DC stabilized power supply circuit.

10. Time Capacitor: A capacitor connected in series with the resistor R of the DC regulated DC power supply circuit to determine the length of charging and discharging time.

11. Accelerating Capacitor: Connect to the DC stabilized power supply circuit with oscillator feedback to speed up the positive feedback process and increase the amplitude of the oscillating signal.

12. Shorten the capacitor: In the DC stabilized UHF tuner power supply circuit, connect the capacitor in series to shorten the length of the oscillating inductor.

13. Rod capacitor: capacitor oscillates at 3 points In the DC stabilized power supply circuit, the capacitor connected in series with the inductive oscillation coil plays the role of eliminating the effect of transistor junction capacitance on frequency stability.

14. Silver capacitor: The capacitor oscillates at 3 points. In the regulated DC power supply circuit, the capacitor connected in parallel at both ends of the induction oscillation coil eliminates the influence of the transistor junction capacitance and makes the oscillator easier to vibrate.

15. Amplitude stabilization capacitor: used in the frequency discriminator to stabilize the amplitude of the output signal.

16. Pre-emphasis capacitor: RC high frequency component is very small. It is recommended to add network capacitors during processing of audio modulated signals to avoid attenuation and crossover losses.

17. De-emphasis capacitor: In order to restore the original audio signal, an RC capacitor must be set in the network to jointly attenuate the high-frequency components and noise generated by the pre-emphasis of the audio signal.

18. Phase Shift Capacitor: A capacitor used to change the phase of an AC signal.

19. Feedback Capacitor: A capacitor connected between the input and output terminals of the amplifier to return the output signal to the input terminal.

20. Downstream current limiting capacitor: connected in series with the AC circuit, using the capacitive reactance characteristics of the capacitor to limit the AC current relative to the AC current, thus forming a DC stable power supply circuit with voltage splitting.

21. Flyback capacitor: used in the DC regulated power supply circuit with line scan output, the line is connected between the collector and the emitter of the line output tube to generate high-voltage, sawtooth reverse motion pulses, its Dielectric strength typically exceeds 1500 volts.

22. S Correction Capacitor: Connected in series with the deflection coil loop to correct for extended linear distortion at the end of the receiver tube.

23. Bootstrap boost capacitor: Use the charging and discharging energy storage characteristics of the capacitor to increase the potential at a certain point in the regulated power supply circuit, so that the potential at this point is twice the value of the power supply voltage.

24. Bright spot elimination capacitor: It is installed in the DC stable power supply circuit of the video amplifier to eliminate the bright spot remaining when the picture tube is turned off.

25. Soft-start capacitor: usually connected to the switch base of the switching power supply to prevent excessive inrush current or high peak voltage from being applied to the switch base when the switch is turned on and damaged.

26. Starting capacitor: It is connected in series with the secondary winding of a single-phase motor to provide a phase-shifted starting AC voltage for the motor. After the motor works normally, this voltage is cut off by the secondary winding.

27. Running capacitor: It is connected in series with the secondary winding of a single-phase motor to provide phase-shifted alternating current for the secondary winding of the motor. When the motor is working normally, it is connected in series with the secondary winding.
