What are the measurement methods of the laser rangefinder?
1. Phase laser ranging.
The laser beam is amplitude modulated using the frequency of the radio band, the phase delay produced by the modulated light going back and forth to the measuring line is measured once, and then the distance represented by the phase delay is converted according to the wavelength of the modulated light. That is, by indirectly measuring the time it takes for light to travel to and from the line.
2. Pulse laser ranging.
The method adopts the characteristics of short continuous time, relatively concentrated energy and high instantaneous power of laser pulses for ranging. Simply put, it is to measure the time-of-flight difference of the laser.
3. Triangle laser ranging.
The measurement method of the laser displacement sensor is called the laser triangulation method. The accuracy of the laser rangefinder is certain, and the accuracy of 10 meters and 100 meters is the same. The measurement accuracy of the laser triangulation method is related to the range. The larger the range, the lower the accuracy.
4. Laser echo method.
The laser displacement sensor adopts the principle of echo analysis to measure the distance and can achieve a certain degree of accuracy. The laser displacement sensor transmits 1 million pulses per second to the detection object through the laser transmitter and returns to the receiver. The processor calculates the time it takes for the laser pulse to meet the detection object and return to the receiver to calculate the distance value. The output value is the average output of thousands of measurements.
