What does it mean if the dissolved oxygen meter sensor module has expired?

SevenExcellence pH/mV, Conductivity, Dissolved Oxygen, Ion Concentration Meter – the best multi-parameter benchtop meter. This three-channel meter measures pH, mV, relative mV, ORP and a variety of conductivity-based metrics (TDS, salinity, resistivity, conductivity ash) and can measure dissolved oxygen in samples via digital or polarographic techniques , and can also measure the ion concentration and activity in the solution.

The S600 SevenExcellence™ Dissolved Oxygen Meter allows users to polarographically measure dissolved oxygen content in samples using METTLER TOLEDO's state-of-the-art InLab™ 605 polarographic dissolved oxygen electrode. This single-channel meter can be expanded with modules at any time to expand measurement parameters!
The S900 SevenExcellence DO Dissolved Oxygen Meter allows users to measure the dissolved oxygen content in samples using METTLER TOLEDO's new InLab? OptiOx digital dissolved oxygen sensor. The S900 instrument combined with InLab® OptiOx can also be used to determine biochemical oxygen demand.

Portable - SG9 optical dissolved oxygen meter
SevenGo pro? SG9 has the highest measurement accuracy, excellent functions, friendly operation interface and excellent safety. Instruments are essential tools for a variety of analyses, especially those in the environmental, chemical and food and beverage industries. The kit model is also ideal for outdoor use as the meter and electrodes are waterproof (IP67).

Tips on the use and maintenance of dissolved oxygen electrodes
First, the dissolved oxygen meter electrode should be cleaned once every 1 to 2 weeks. If there are contaminants on the diaphragm, it will cause measurement errors. Be careful not to damage the diaphragm when cleaning. Rinse the dissolved oxygen meter electrode in clean water. If the dirt cannot be washed away, wipe it carefully with a soft cloth or cotton cloth.

Second, the dissolved oxygen meter electrode should be recalibrated for zero point and range every 2 to 3 months.

Third, the dissolved oxygen meter electrode must be regenerated approximately once a year. When the measurement range cannot be adjusted, the dissolved oxygen electrode needs to be regenerated. Electrode regeneration includes replacing the internal electrolyte, replacing the diaphragm, and cleaning the silver electrode. If oxidation is observed on the silver electrode, polish it with fine sandpaper.

Fourth, if the electrode of the dissolved oxygen meter is found to be leaking during use, the electrolyte must be replaced.

Therefore, when you buy a dissolved oxygen meter, you must not only use it correctly, but also maintain it. Many customers have problems before they use them after buying them. Most of them are caused by technicians accidentally handling the electrodes. If you touch the film head and break the film, it will cause too much negotiation and repair work between the customer and the supplier. For this reason, we hope that the majority of users can understand these little things and be able to use them in a formal manner. Be careful and avoid unnecessary trouble.
