A horizontal ruler will have horizontal bubbles, inside which liquid flows. The water bubbles inside will also move when tilted left and right. The horizontal ruler is used to measure the level. So what is the liquid in the horizontal ruler?
In fact, the liquid in the level is not ordinary water, but a mixture of alcohol, glycerol, ethylene glycol, and water, which is made into a specific ratio and filled into the level. The reason for using this liquid is because the level requires that the liquid will not freeze, has good fluidity, stability, and can emit fluorescence.
How is the liquid in the water level filled in
In the process of making a water level, how to put the liquid into the level and center the bubbles is the key to the measurement accuracy of the entire level. Next, we will introduce the liquid filling process of the level:
1. Place the body of the level ruler on the machine and dig out several holes, which will be filled with bubble containing level bubbles and used as handles.
2. Melt the plastic and inject it into a curved small bottle as a leveling bubble. The injected small bottle is sealed at one end and has an opening at the other end.
3. The small bottles are sent to the mechanical gripper through a vibrating disc feeder. The mechanical gripper holds each small bottle and rotates it with the opening facing upwards, injecting mixed liquid into the small bottles. Each small bottle needs to be filled with the same amount of liquid, leaving only the space needed to form bubbles.
4. The mechanical claw attaches a plastic cap to the small bottle cap and uses an ultrasonic welding machine to weld the plastic cap onto the small bottle, sealing the liquid inside the small bottle.
5. Horizontal bubbles with bubbles will be captured by a camera, and the computer will automatically detect the size and position of the bubbles to determine whether they are qualified. The two indicator lines will be heat transferred onto the small bottle by rolling it on the machine.
6. At this point, the small bottle needs to be inspected again. The small bottle that passes the inspection will enter the solid fusion welding system. It will inject the molten plastic into the gap, forming a horizontal bubble base. Then, the horizontal bubble with the base will be inserted into the opening of the ruler body and fixed with glue.
