What precautions should be taken when using combustible gas detectors

The fixed combustible gas detector is divided into two parts: gas alarm controller and combustible gas detector. The service life of the gas controller is much longer than that of the gas detector. Therefore, it should be avoided as much as possible during the use of flammable gas alarms. The combustible gas detector is not replaceable. Let's take a closer look at the precautions for combustible gas detectors:

1. The combustible gas detector should be operated carefully to avoid damage to sensitive parts of the instrument caused by severe vibration.

2. Extend battery life and turn off the detector when not in use. The continuous charging time of the detector should not be less than 8 hours each time, and the detector should be charged when it is turned off.

3. When using it with electricity, it must be charged in a safe place. It is strictly forbidden to replace or recharge the battery of the instrument in a place where there is a risk of explosion, otherwise it may cause a fire or explosion.

4. When the instrument itself is faulty and cannot be used normally, it is strictly forbidden to disassemble or repair it without authorization. It must be repaired by professionals. During work in hazardous areas, the detector must not be disassembled to prevent explosion. 5. It is strictly forbidden to use a butane lighter to test the sensitivity of the detector sensor to avoid man-made damage to the detection probe. Avoid the influence of high concentration combustible gas on the detector. 6. Do not place the instrument in an environment with strong inorganic or organic solvent smell for a long time. Otherwise, it is recommended to test the sensor with a standard gas of known concentration and accessories. 7. The detector must be in good condition at all times. After each test, check that the instrument is zeroed. If not, it must be re-zeroed in clean air to ensure accurate analytical data. 8. Keep the surface of the instrument clean, keep the air inlet of the sensor unblocked to prevent blockage, and clean the filter regularly according to the usage.
