1. Intensifier tube: It is several generations. Be sure to check with the seller when buying. Because the night vision device packaging and instructions are generally not marked with several generations of imaging tubes. Of course, if you want to buy a 2nd or 3rd generation night vision device, buy a night vision device that is clearly marked as several generations of image-enhancing tubes, so as not to infringe on your rights. At present, the night vision devices such as Russia's RHO are marked on the product packaging and machines as the use of the first generation of imaging tubes.

2. Lens: Look at the lens diameter and magnification. Without considering the volume, of course, the bigger the better. In the case of the same intensifier tube, in principle, the larger the aperture, the farther the observation distance, and the clearer the image.

3. Image enhancement technology: Generally, night vision devices with this technology will have better image brightness and clearer under the same conditions.

4. Infrared transmitter: The quality of this performance also directly affects the image quality.

5. Resolution: The resolution of the lens is very important, the higher the resolution, the clearer the displayed image.

Infrared night vision technology has experienced the early active infrared night vision imaging technology and the current passive infrared (thermal imaging) technology. Infrared detectors first used unit detectors, and later developed into multi-element line detectors in order to improve sensitivity and resolution, and have now developed into multi-element area array infrared detectors. The corresponding system has achieved a leap from point detection to target thermal imaging.
