Generally, what is transported to the wellhead in the pipeline of the polymer injection well is a mixture of polymer mother liquor and sewage, with a temperature of about 40°C. The mixed liquid coming out of the leakage point migrates along the point of maximum underground porosity, which can be up to more than 10 meters, and finally overflows from the weakest point, that is, the overflow point. During the transfer process of the mixed liquid, the temperature gradually decreases, that is, the temperature at the overflow point is the lowest, while the temperature at the leakage point is the highest.
Therefore, when actually looking for leaks, as long as the hand-held infrared thermometer moves from the overflow point along the path of rising temperature, and finds the highest temperature point, the leak point is found. Multiple leak-finding tests have proven that this method saves time and effort, is 100% accurate, and can greatly reduce the scope of hitting the cement floor. This year, infrared thermometers were used to find leaks in 15 wells, shortening the pipeline processing time by an average of 6 hours per well and increasing the amount of polymer solution injection by 680 cubic meters.
In addition, the infrared thermometer can also be used to monitor places with strong currents such as control cabinets and switchboards in the station, and accurately and timely detect abnormal conditions such as virtual connections and looseness at the AC contactor wiring points. The operation is simple and safe, and does not affect the normal operation of the equipment. run.
