Why Do DC Power Supplies Need to Be Activated?

DC power supply is a very important equipment in the power industry. The telecommunications DC power supply is composed of AC parts, rectifiers, DC distribution components, battery packs, and monitoring modules as required.

But why do we need to activate it first when using a DC power supply?
It also depends on the following conditions during startup: if the battery level is low, you will not be able to plug in the charger for charging. After adjusting the DC power supply voltage to approximately 3.7V, connect the positive and negative electrodes of the DC power supply to the battery contacts, which directly charges the battery to achieve the effect of activating the battery. Be careful not to make the voltage too high.

Household appliances that use DC power, such as televisions and amplifiers, VCD, Computers, radios, and stereos. The computer control circuit, circuit breaker control circuit, CNC machine tool, etc. of industrial machinery injection molding machines cannot be separated from the DC power supply.

DC power activation
If the battery level is very low and the charger cannot charge, adjust the DC power supply voltage to around 3.7V, then connect the positive and negative poles of the DC power supply to the battery contacts, charge the battery directly, and then charge the battery again. Please note that the voltage should not be too high.

Mainly refers to batteries with protective plates (lithium batteries, iron lithium batteries, etc.). If discharged for a long time, the voltage will be too low and excessive discharge will occur. At this point, an external DC power supply with a higher voltage is required.
