Why is the image of the night vision device green?
Because the traditional night vision device contains an image-increasing tube, which uses a phosphor-containing display screen, which will appear green when the phosphor is attacked by electrons. This is actually a major feature of night vision devices, through another lens called the eyepiece, one can see the image of green phosphorescence.
