Working principle and introduction of dissolved oxygen meter

1. Product Introduction

Dissolved oxygen is the most important water quality indicator in pond aquaculture. The respiration of fish depends on the dissolved oxygen content in the water. If the oxygen content in the water is too low, the fish will not be able to grow normally. The dissolved oxygen content required by the normal growth of the main cultured fish is generally above 4-5mg/L. At this time, the fish eat well, grow fast, and have high feed utilization. When the dissolved oxygen is lower than this value, the feeding and growth of fish will be affected to a certain extent. Especially when the dissolved oxygen is lower than 2mg/L, the fish basically stop feeding. When the dissolved oxygen is lower than 1mg/L, the fish will float their heads. And when dissolved oxygen is lower than 0.5mg/L, fish can suffocate and die. If the dissolved oxygen is too high, it will generally not cause much harm to fish, but deep supersaturated dissolved oxygen will sometimes cause air bubble disease and consume too much energy.

This dissolved oxygen meter is specially used for automatic control of dissolved oxygen content. The dissolved oxygen meter can accurately measure the dissolved oxygen content and water temperature in the fish pond, and can automatically control the start and stop of the aerator according to the start-up limit and shutdown limit set by the user. The dissolved oxygen meter includes the functions of switch limit setting, oxygen sensor calibration, dissolved oxygen content measurement and display, water temperature measurement and display, sensor failure alarm and display, manual operation and display, sensor measurement value RS232 transmission and other functions. Proper use of the dissolved oxygen meter can make the dissolved oxygen content of the fish pond suitable, ensure the normal growth of fish, reduce the occurrence of fish diseases, improve the utilization rate of fish feed, save manpower and electricity, and reduce the cost of breeding.

2. Working principle

The sensors used in the dissolved oxygen meter are primary battery oxygen sensors and integrated circuit temperature sensors, which have high measurement accuracy and fast response. The relay is normally open output, which can control the intermediate relay of the aerator. When the detected dissolved oxygen content is lower than the set start-up limit, the output relay is closed to control the intermediate relay of the aerator to work, thereby starting the aerator to work. When the detected dissolved oxygen content is higher than the set shutdown limit, the output relay is disconnected, and the intermediate relay of the aerator is prohibited from working, thereby stopping the aerator. The aerator tester is equipped with a sensor failure alarm function, which can generate sound and light alarms when the sensor fails, and at the same time control the aerator to work at an interval of about 30 seconds. The dissolved oxygen meter is equipped with a manual work button, which can control the work of the aerator at any time.
