Working principle of high power DC regulated power supply

Constant current source
High power DC regulated power supplies usually use constant current sources to ensure the stability of output current when the load changes. A constant current source generally consists of a three terminal steady current diode and a high-power resistor, and the output current is adjusted by controlling the resistance value of the resistor.
Power amplifier circuit

In order to output high current, high-power DC stabilized power supplies usually use power amplification circuits. The power amplification circuit amplifies the small current output by the control circuit into a large current output to the load. Common power amplifier circuits include transistor power amplifier circuits and MOS transistor power amplifier circuits.

Feedback control circuit
In order to maintain the stability of the output voltage, a high-power DC stabilized power supply requires a feedback control circuit to monitor and regulate the output voltage. Feedback control circuits typically consist of a differential amplifier and a comparator. The differential amplifier compares the output voltage with the reference voltage, amplifies the difference through the amplifier, compares it with the comparator, and finally adjusts the control voltage based on the comparison result to control the stability of the output voltage.

Voltage regulator tube
In order to protect the load from overvoltage damage, high-power DC regulated power supplies also use voltage regulators. The voltage regulator maintains the stability of the output voltage by consuming excess voltage on itself.

2, The use of high-power DC stabilized power supply

High power DC stabilized power supplies are widely used in many fields, especially in devices that require high current and high stability. Here are several common usage scenarios:

Electronic Equipment Laboratory
Electronic equipment laboratories often require testing and experimentation of different electronic devices. High power DC stabilized power supply can provide stable power for these devices. For example, when testing integrated circuits, it is necessary to provide accurate and stable power supply to ensure the accuracy of test results.

Communication equipment
Communication equipment has very high requirements for power supply, especially high-power devices such as base stations. High power DC regulated power supply can not only provide stable power supply, but also maintain the stability of output voltage when the load changes.

industrial automation
Industrial automation equipment typically requires high-power power supply to drive various motors, servo systems, etc. High power DC stabilized power supply can provide efficient power supply for these devices and ensure the stability of output voltage.

Medical equipment
Medical equipment has very high requirements for the stability and safety of power supply. High power DC regulated power supply can provide high stability power supply, ensuring the normal operation of medical equipment.
