We have been using ( testing) meter against various woods, and even applied damp cloth on the wall to see what kind of reading we got. We used it outside our home as well as inside. We will be using GVDA Meter along with our dehumidifier for those areas we find that detect moisture. So far, one spot in the bathroom behind toilet was noted Orange (22.7%) and tested next day Green ( 10.9%) after using dehumidifier.
