A good quality device, small enough to fit in a pocket and has a lot of useful settings with detailed reading results.
The device is a good size, it has a protective click on cap, five buttons, a green backlight screen which is easy to read, the device comes with batteries, two pin replacements, small wrench, a drawstring pouch and manual.
When turning on the device, it beeps and the screen illuminates and shows temperature, humidity percentage, moisture range bar, material setting and two moisture content indicators.
Each button press sounds a beep so you can be alerted if you've accidentally changed a setting.
The device measures in °C & °F, it measures a lot of materials like various woods, cement, mortar, gypsum, lime mortar and brick.
With the H button active it saves the result on screen so if you want to take down multiple measurements and compare them to find an average moisture level you can do so easily, a max and minimum setting can also help with determining the safe zone of the material you're measuring and will only add the new value if it's higher than the previous Minimum and Maximum measurement which is very helpful and saves time.
As you can see by my results, my old bedroom has a REALLY bad damp problem under the window, but the new room I've moved into downstairs is much better with barely any reading on the wall there at the same spot
I think it's a great tool, very useful, easy to use and read while providing settings for a large variety of different materials.
