How to use the digital test pen? How to use the digital test pen

The electric test pen is suitable for direct detection of AC and DC voltages from 12v to 250v, and indirect detection of the neutral line, phase line and breakpoint of alternating current, and can also measure the continuity of uncharged conductors. Intuitive readouts, full-featured, and inexpensive.

Instructions:

1. Button description:

A key "DIRECT": It is a direct measurement key (far away from the LCD screen), that is, when the metal front end of the electric pen (referred to as the batch head) directly touches the line, please press this button.

B key "INDUCTANCE": It is the induction/breakpoint measurement key (closer to the LCD screen), that is, when using a bit to sense (note that it is induction, not direct contact) line, please press this button.

Regardless of how the text on the electric pen is printed, generally speaking, the one farther from the LCD screen is the direct measurement key, and the one closer to the LCD screen is the induction/breakpoint measurement key. If the layout is not like this, it means that it is a counterfeit or inferior product. For the sake of your safety, it is not recommended to buy.

Second, direct detection:

1. Lightly touch the DIRECT button, and the metal front end of the test pen directly touches the object to be detected;

1.1 The last number is the measured voltage value (this test electric pen is divided into five sections of voltage values: 12V, 36V, 55V, 110V, 220V, usually ≤36V will not be life-threatening);

1.2 When the display value of the high segment is less than 70%, the low segment value is displayed;

1.3. When measuring non-ground direct current, touch the other pole (such as positive pole or negative pole) with your hand.

2. When the electric pen directly touches the live wire, no matter whether the hand touches any measurement button, the indicator light will light up immediately:

2.1 When the hand does not touch any of the measurement keys, the indicator lights up and displays 12V, which is inaccurate;

2.2 When the hand touches the sensor/breakpoint measurement key, the indicator light will light up and display 110V, which is inaccurate;

2.3 When the hand touches the direct measurement key, the indicator lights up and displays 220V, which is accurate;

2.4 To sum up, when the hand does not touch any measurement button, once the indicator light is on, it means that there is an AC live wire of 220V, remember to remember!

3. When the hand touches the direct measurement key, when the electric pen directly touches the human body, live wire, neutral wire, ground wire, metal and other conductive objects, the indicator light may light up. At this time, the actual voltage is subject to the reading. If there is no reading, then Indicates no voltage.

4. When the hand touches the sensor/breakpoint measurement key, when the electric pen directly touches the object to be detected, there are two situations:

4.1 When the indicator light is on and displays 110V, it means that there is an AC live wire of 220V, remember!

4.2 The indicator light is off, but the "high voltage symbol" appears, please refer to points 1 and 2 in "3. Indirect detection".

3. Indirect detection (also known as induction detection):

1. Induction detection: lightly touch the induction/breakpoint measurement (INDUCTANCE) button, and the metal front end of the test pen is close to (note that it is close to, not in direct contact with) the object to be detected. If the "high voltage symbol" appears on the display, it means the object to be detected AC inside.

2. Breakpoint detection: When measuring a wire with a breakpoint, lightly touch the induction/breakpoint measurement (INDUCTANCE) key, and the metal front end of the test pen is close to (note that it is close to, not in direct contact with) the wire, or directly touch the wire Insulation outer layer, if the "high voltage symbol" disappears, this is the breakpoint.

3. Use this function to easily distinguish zero and phase lines (the distance between lines should be increased when measuring parallel lines). Detect microwave radiation and leakage.
