I got this GVDA Digital anemometer to use when long range target shooting, but I can see where people who like to monitor the weather would like it too. It had some other suggested uses I didn't think about, like measuring flow out of your AC vents, which also could come in very handy. I will need some more experience with it at the range to get some correlation between the wind speed and direction and the effect on the bullet, but you can't make the correlation unless you have the data! This device is easy to use, and has some good options in terms of giving you the max, min, or average wind speed, in any units you could possible need. The screen is a good size and very easy to read. A very good deal for the price.
