Precautions for the use of digital clamp ammeter and instrument maintenance
1. Matters needing attention in measurement
(1) If the voltage is higher than the AC 600V circuit, it will cause electric shock or damage the instrument.
(2) Before measuring the current, remove all test lines from the instrument to avoid touching live conductors.
(3) Try to avoid strong magnetic field to avoid the accuracy of the measurement data of strong magnetic field.
(4) When the jaws cannot be completely closed, do not force them to close. You can open the jaws and try again. If there is any foreign matter stuck to the jaws, remove them immediately.
the
(5) In any range, it should be ensured that the measured current does not exceed the maximum allowable measurement value of this range.
the
(6) Do not switch the range switch with load during the measurement process.
the
(7) After the measurement is completed, the selector switch should be placed in the off position to prevent battery leakage or accidental burning of the instrument during the next measurement.
2. Instrument maintenance
(1) The clamp ammeter should be maintained and calibrated regularly so that problems and hidden dangers can be found in time to ensure normal use. When maintaining, first check the appearance of the meter and whether there is any damage to each part, use a soft brush or cotton cloth to wipe off the floating dust, and then dip a little non-corrosive solvent or clean water to wipe it carefully and dry it. The battery case should be opened for inspection or scrubbing, but the case should not be opened. When calibrating, it is necessary to select the same kind of meter with good performance to measure the same measured current, and the results should be consistent, otherwise it means that the meter being calibrated has failed or damaged, and it must be verified or repaired. The cycle of maintenance and calibration is usually three months or after the meter is intensively used, it should be maintained or calibrated.
(2) After maintenance or calibration, the clamp ammeter should be stored in a well-ventilated indoor shelf or cabinet; the indoor air should not contain corrosive and harmful components; the environment should be dry, the temperature should be suitable, and meet the requirements of the table. The meter shall not be subject to severe mechanical vibration under any circumstances; if the battery is installed inside, it must be taken out to prevent the battery from leaking and damage the meter; the indoor light shall not be too strong, and direct sunlight is strictly prohibited on the meter , because its plastic shell will accelerate aging under the action of sunlight, and the LCD screen is even more afraid of sunlight.
