Principles and skills of clamp Ammeter
When the general Ammeter detects the line, it needs to disconnect the line to intervene in the instrument test, which is not feasible for the equipment that is running and cannot disconnect the line. Therefore, the research and development of clamp Ammeter measurement is not necessarily targeted Ammeter. It can directly clamp the circuit for testing circuit current, leakage current, etc
Principle and structure of clamp Ammeter:
The clamp Ammeter adopts the combination of split iron core and hole element. When the measured current I passes through the sensor, the Hall element induces and outputs a Hall voltage VH. The measured current I can be calculated by detecting the Hall voltage VH. The Hall voltage VH is proportional to the measured current I. The wire passing through the iron core becomes the primary coil of the current transformer, and the current in the circuit is induced in the secondary coil. You can test the circuit current. The clamp meter is fully automatic gear shifting, with high accuracy, easy to carry, and can test the total current of the line, ground leakage current, line current, etc
Tips for using clamp Ammeter:
(1) Before testing the circuit, check whether the insulation shell of the clamp gauge iron core is intact and undamaged. Check if the jaws are securely closed.
(2) Opening the instrument panel and displaying "OL" indicates that the instrument panel is functioning properly and can be tested
(3) When measuring, try to pass the measured wire through the center of the clamp as much as possible. You can test several times and read the value to make the reading accurate.
(4) When measuring a small current, if conditions permit, the wire can be wound a few more turns and then clamped with pliers. The value tested in this way is a multiple of the number of wire turns, and the value is relatively accurate
(5) After the inspection is completed, close the instrument and clean the jaws so that the instrument is in good condition for the next use.
