This is a nice small multi-meter.I use the voltage and resistance the most and both of these functions are straight forward and the display is very bright.I do recommend this one.
I did have some trouble getting the battery compartment open. There is one screw so you would think that would be simple enough. However the lid would not come off after the screw was removed. I use a screwdriver to pry it up and it sounded like it broke. I didn't, thank goodness. Then when putting it back on the same thing happened. It snaps very hard into place.
The probes have an extra sleeve protector which to me is annoying. After slipping both of those off, it worked great.
It comes on in 'Auto' which will detect if it is AC or DC and give the same readout as if you scroll through to that actual setting.
It does not have a case which would have been handy but not necessary.I do recommend this one.
