11 safe operating procedures for multimeters

 

1. Familiar with the working principle of instruments and meters, master the operation methods, and carefully operate according to the operation instructions of this post.


2. Preparation and inspection before operation:

1) Wear labor protection articles, tidy up the environment and sanitation, and keep the work site clean;


2) Clarify the testing tasks and prepare testing equipment and tools;


3) Check that the wiring of the instruments and meters is correct, there is no looseness, and the grounding is good;


4) Check that the laying position of the insulating floor should be correct, no damage, no conductor, and play a protective role;


5) Check that the instruments and meters are working normally before entering the working state, otherwise report for repair immediately.


3. When entering the working state, it is strictly forbidden to touch the power inlet terminal with hands, and any terminal should be regarded as live.


4. Operate strictly according to the operation instruction.


5. Before performing insulation and pressure-resistant operations, check that the protective shoes and insulating gloves should not be damaged or damp, and they can only work after wearing them.


6. Pay attention to the voltage and current indication of the instrument at any time. When the overvoltage and overcurrent occur, the power supply should be cut off immediately to stop working and report to the relevant leaders. Before the fault is eliminated, the operator should monitor and not resume work.


7. When performing high and low temperature aging work, carefully observe the temperature change. When the temperature is found to be overheated, the temperature should be adjusted within the working range in time. If the adjustment is out of control, the power supply should be cut off immediately to stop the work, and repaired in time.


8. The disassembly, wiring and maintenance of instruments and meters shall be carried out by professionals. If the operator handles it without authorization, it will be regarded as a serious violation of regulations, and appropriate punishment shall be given according to the severity of the circumstances.


9. The operator has the right to refuse the command of illegal operation.


10. Operators support the work of security personnel at all levels in the company and consciously accept their supervision, inspection and guidance.


11. Finish work
