15W DC non-inductive energy storage electric soldering iron principle

Advantages of this electric soldering iron: It does not use 220V grid voltage as the power supply, but uses its own stored 2.4V DC voltage, and works in the form of high-current discharge; because the working voltage is very low, there is no high-voltage electrostatic induction phenomenon, which is very suitable for welding and is easy to be damaged. Components or equipment damaged by high-voltage electrostatic induction, such as CMOS circuits, video recorders, computers, etc.; the soldering iron is small in size, easy to carry, and suitable for field operations; if the nickel-cadmium battery is fully charged, it can continuously weld about 200 solder joints. the

The structure of the DC energy storage electric soldering iron is mainly composed of three parts: the soldering iron head, the soldering iron body, and the charger. The energy conversion principle is to use 2 No. 2 pot nickel batteries (voltage 2.4V) to heat the tip of the soldering iron in the form of a large current. The diameter of the soldering iron tip is 2.5mm, the length is 23mm, and the surface is treated with corrosion-resistant and anti-oxidation coating. The resistance of the heating wire enclosed in the soldering iron tip is 0.4Ω, the working current is 6A, the power of the soldering iron is about 15W, the temperature can reach 300°C-400°C, and the service life is better than that of a 20W internal heating soldering iron tip. The soldering iron body is composed of a power transmission interface (insert the soldering iron tip at this interface), a small lighting bulb, a nickel-cadmium battery pack, a charging interface and a plastic shell. The charger is composed of a charging socket, a transformer, a rectifier tube and a plastic shell. The charging voltage is 2.6V, and the charging current is 14OmA-180mA.

When iron is used for a period of time, after the voltage of the nickel-cadmium battery drops, the non-electric interface of the grid iron body can be aligned with the charging interface of the charger and plugged in, and the nickel-cadmium battery is then charged. Because the No. 2 nickel-cadmium battery has a large capacity and can be recharged and used repeatedly, this kind of electric soldering iron will definitely be welcomed by radio enthusiasts.
