A brief introduction to 7 common DC/AC power supplies
1. Regulated power supply
A device that converts alternating current into direct current through a transformer and a rectifier is called a rectified power supply. It is the conversion of other forms of energy into electricity and is characterized by voltage regulation.
2. Switching AC regulated power supply
Switching power supply, also known as switching power supply and switching converter, is a high-frequency power conversion device and a power supply. Its function is to convert voltage into the voltage or current required by customers through different forms of construction.
The input part of the switching power supply is mostly an AC power supply or a DC power supply, and the output part is mostly a device that requires a DC power supply. The switching power supply completes the conversion of voltage and current between the two.
(1) AC/DC power supply
Also known as the main power supply, AC AC, DC DC, energy is obtained from the power grid, a DC high voltage is obtained after high-voltage rectification and filtering, and one or several stable DC voltages are obtained from the output of the DC/DC converter, and the power ranges from several watts, Products of several kilowatts, in different occasions.
(2) DC/DC power supply
Also known as the secondary power supply in the communication system, it is provided with a DC input voltage by the main power supply or a DC battery pack, and one or several DC voltages are obtained at the output terminal through DC/DC conversion.
(3) Communication power supply
Communication power supply is powered by DC/DC converter, but it is usually DC-48V or -24V power supply, and backup battery DC power backup, working voltage circuit, DC power supply voltage, generally divided into central power level power supply and single board power supply Three, the latter being the highest reliability.
(4) Module power supply
High operating frequency, small size, high reliability, convenient installation, and large combined expansion capacity, so it has been more and more widely used. At present, although China has produced corresponding modules, the failure rate is relatively high because the production technology has not caught up with the international level.
3. Inverter power supply
The inverter power supply uses a thyristor circuit to convert direct current into alternating current, corresponding to the reverse process of rectification, and is defined as an inverter power supply.
Inverter power supply is widely used in various fields such as electric power, communication, industrial equipment, satellite communication equipment, military vehicles, medical ambulances, police cars, ships, solar energy, and wind power.
4. Frequency conversion power supply
The variable frequency power supply converts the alternating current in the mains through alternating current, direct current and alternating current, and outputs a pure sine wave. The output frequency and voltage can be adjusted within a certain range. The frequency conversion power supply is a frequency conversion device composed of the entire circuit of AC current, AC current and filter.
5.usb uninterruptible power supply
The USB uninterruptible power supply is a system device that connects the battery and the host, and converts DC to commercial power through a module circuit such as the host inverter. It is mainly used to provide stable and uninterrupted power supply for a single computer, computer network system or other power electronic equipment such as solenoid valves and pressure transmitters.
6. Power AC regulated power supply
A power supply that can provide a stable voltage and frequency is called an AC stable power supply. The work done by most domestic manufacturers is to stabilize the AC voltage.
7. Linear and stable power supply
A common characteristic of linear stabilized power supplies is that its power device adjustment tube works in the linear region, and the output is stabilized by the voltage drop between the adjustment tubes. Due to the large static loss of the adjustment tube, it is necessary to install a large radiator to dissipate heat. And since the transformer works at power frequency (50Hz), it is heavy.
