A good helper for solving simple malfunctions in stereo microscopes

Stereoscopic microscopes are also indispensable instruments in laboratories. For professionals, some precautions or simple troubleshooting should not be a problem. However, for beginners, it is important to understand the composition of stereomicroscopes. It is important to know the main components. The composition of stereomicroscopes consists of an eye mask, an eyepiece, a moderate adjustment ring, a microscope lens body, a lamp source fixing screw, a glass work plate, a pressure plate, a fraudster component, a focusing handwheel, a bracket, and a bracket.

A stereo microscope is not an ordinary tool, it is a relatively precise instrument that cannot be directly exposed to sunlight. It should be placed in a dry and clean environment to avoid direct exposure to high temperatures; During transportation, it should be handled with care to avoid collisions. When using a stereo microscope, we should also pay attention to keeping our hands clean to avoid oil stains sticking to the lens. If oil stains or fingerprints accidentally stick to the lens, be careful not to wipe it directly with your hands. You can use cotton yarn and a small amount of alcohol to clean and be safe; If you are in contact with a stereo microscope for the first time, be careful not to disassemble it on your own to avoid affecting its performance, and do not zoom in the opposite direction, otherwise it may malfunction; After using the stereo microscope, it is also necessary to cover it with a dust cover and check it regularly when necessary.

There are also some problems encountered when using a stereo microscope for the first time, and now I can help you solve some small problems:
If the light bulb suddenly burns out, it is necessary to consider whether the voltage is too high and control the voltage (such as using a voltage regulator)

2. Another option is to use non specified light bulbs, which must be replaced with appropriate ones; In addition, when encountering a flickering light bulb, check if the bulb is broken or not stable during installation. If it is broken, replace it. If it is unstable during installation, inserting it again can easily solve these small problems.

3. If bi-directional misalignment is found during use, it is necessary to check whether the pupil distance adjustment is appropriate, correct the pupil distance or readjust the visual acuity. If it still does not work, check whether the magnification of the left and right eyepieces is the same, and install the same eyepiece.

When dirt is found in the field of view, the first thing to check is whether the specimen is clean. If it is not clean, it should be cleaned up; If it still doesn't work, you need to check the eyepiece. There should be no dirt on the eyepiece and it should be kept clean.

If you find that your eyes are easily fatigued when using it, you should consider whether the adjustment of visual acuity is reasonable and the lighting brightness is appropriate. Just make a new adjustment to solve this problem.
