Laser thickness gauge:
The contact laser thickness gauge uses the upper and lower probes to directly measure the thickness of the strip, which has nothing to do with the chemical composition of the measured strip and the uniformity of the material. Therefore, the measurement accuracy is very high, and the contact laser thickness gauge can be used for both dynamic measurement and lens detection.
The contact laser thickness gauge consists of a measuring unit mainly composed of a C-shaped frame, an upper pressure wheel, an upper sensor, an upper support arm, a lower pressure wheel, and a lower pressure wheel strut. The contact force between the upper and lower pressure rollers and the surface of the strip is controlled by the air pressure. The air pressure value should be determined according to the hardness of the rolled strip material. If the air pressure is too high, there will be marks on the strip, and if the air pressure is too low, the upper and lower pressure rollers It cannot be in full contact with the strip to affect the detection accuracy.
The upper and lower contact sensors of the laser thickness gauge are installed on the front ends of the upper and lower beams of the C-shaped frame. In order to prevent the fluctuation of the upper and lower positions of the strip from affecting the measurement, the installation distance of the two sensors is set to 60mm (this size can be reduced if the field fluctuation is large). A pulley is installed at the lower part of the sensor, and the thickness measurement head is performed online in real time. The control box is installed at the rear end of the C-shaped frame, and an LCD screen for displaying data is arranged on the control box. The raw data measured by the sensor are transmitted to the control box for processing and calculation, and the calculation results are directly displayed on the LCD screen.
