What are the important components of the laser thickness gauge?
1. Base
The base is fixed on the foundation, which plays a role of fixing the laser thickness gauge, ensuring that the laser thickness gauge will not move randomly in the hot-rolled steel plate production site, ensuring the accuracy of measurement, and welding simple guide rails on the base.
2. Guide rail
The base is welded on the simple guide rail for the movement of the laser thickness gauge, and when the thickness gauge is being repaired, the thickness gauge can be moved on the guide rail for easy maintenance.
3. Wheels
The lower part of the C-shaped frame is equipped with 4 wheels, and the measuring position of the measuring point can be adjusted by pushing the C-shaped frame to slide on the base or the C-shaped frame can be withdrawn from the measuring position for maintenance.
4. C-shaped frame
The laser measuring head is installed on the C-shaped frame, which plays the role of fixing the laser measuring head. The base, guide rail and wheels of the thickness gauge, and the C-shaped frame are the supporting structural parts of the thickness gauge. It is also the main part of the thickness gauge. A stepper motor can also be installed to realize the reciprocating movement of the laser thickness gauge head support.
5. Up and down laser measuring head
The upper and lower laser probes are its important components. The thickness detection is completed through the emitting lens and receiving lens composed of laser probes. Multiple sets of probes can be installed on the laser probes to achieve multi-point measurement.
6. Main control cabinet
The control box of the main control cabinet is equipped with circuit systems such as the driver of the laser probe, the synchronization circuit, and the alarm control circuit. A liquid crystal display is set on the slope of the control box, and the measurement results are directly displayed on the display.
7. Blower
The blower is the cooling and dust-proof equipment of the thickness gauge. The blower is equipped with an air filter device to ensure that the wind delivered to the thickness gauge is clean and cold. The air outlet of the thickness gauge is set in the direction where the measuring head faces the rolling material, which can cool the measuring head and prevent the measuring head from being polluted by oxidation dust and water vapor. The use of the blower provides convenience for harsh production sites filled with high temperature, dust and water mist.
8. Alarm unit
The sound and light alarm is an out-of-tolerance alarm device. When the diameter data measured by the thickness gauge exceeds the set allowable tolerance range, the sound and light alarm will be issued.
