High-speed infrared thermometer should pay attention to the use of the problem:
1, only measure the surface temperature, infrared thermometer can not measure the internal temperature.
2, the wavelength of 5um or more can not be through the quartz glass temperature measurement, glass has a very special reflection and transmission characteristics, does not allow infrared temperature readings. But can be measured through the infrared window temperature. Infrared thermometer is best not used for bright or polished metal surface temperature measurement (stainless steel, aluminium, etc.).
3, locate the hot spot, to find the hot spot, the instrument is aimed at the target, and then scanning movement up and down on the target, until the hot spot is determined.
4, pay attention to the environmental conditions: steam, dust, smoke, etc.. It blocks the optical system of the instrument and affects the temperature measurement.
5, the ambient temperature, if the pyrometer is suddenly exposed to the ambient temperature difference of 20 ℃ or higher, allowing the instrument to be adjusted to the new ambient temperature within 20 minutes.
6, must accurately determine the emissivity of the object being measured.
7, Avoid the influence of high temperature objects in the surrounding environment.
8, for transparent materials, the ambient temperature should be lower than the temperature of the object to be measured.
9, infrared thermometer to be vertically aligned with the surface of the object under test, in any case, the angle can not exceed 30 degrees.
10, can not be applied to bright or polished metal surface temperature measurement, can not be measured through the glass temperature.
