Application of electromagnetic radiation measuring instruments
1. Electromagnetic radiation measuring instruments are used for measuring electromagnetic radiation in electromagnetic environments, such as living rooms, offices, computer rooms, control rooms, high-voltage lines, transformers, and transmission towers.
2. Electromagnetic radiation measuring instrument is used for electromagnetic radiation measurement of electrical equipment: electromagnetic radiation measurement and analysis of electrical equipment such as computers, televisions, copiers, cables, monitors, air conditioners, refrigerators, etc.
3. Electromagnetic radiation measuring instruments are used for measuring electromagnetic radiation protection functions: testing the shielding electromagnetic radiation function of electromagnetic protective clothing, computer radiation screens/protective materials, and measuring electromagnetic radiation for RF signal monitoring in confidential rooms or shielding machine rooms.
The principle of electromagnetic radiation measuring instruments
The electromagnetic radiation measurement instrument mainly consists of sensors, filtering networks, amplification parts, analog-to-digital conversion, keyboard control, microcontroller control unit, display and alarm parts, etc.
The entire system is powered by a 9V battery, and the electromagnetic signals detected by the sensor probe are transmitted to the amplification circuit through a filtering network. The filtered and amplified signal enters the analog-to-digital conversion module, and the converted digital signal is sent to the microcontroller for processing. In program design, the obtained data is calculated to obtain the magnitude of electromagnetic radiation power density, which is displayed on the LCD module and has peak holding and peak display functions. At the same time, an alarm will be triggered for data that exceeds the limit value, indicating that the measured power density value exceeds the limit value.
Measurement methods for electromagnetic radiation measuring instruments:
Test computer: Turn on the instrument and place the instrument close to the computer monitor or computer host. The closer it is to the computer monitor or host, the greater the radiation will be. Different computers may have different levels of radiation. Computers with high electromagnetic radiation may reach several thousand uw/square cm, while those with low electromagnetic radiation may display 0 (note: when the electromagnetic radiation value tested by this instrument is less than 1 uw/square cm, the instrument will display 0).
