Electromagnetic radiation sensors consist of electromagnetic radiation sensors

Electromagnetic radiation sensor is a device that obtains electromagnetic radiation information from ground targets and is a key equipment for data acquisition in remote sensing technology systems. The electromagnetic wave information emitted or reflected by ground objects is collected, measured, and recorded on film or magnetic tape through sensors, and then subjected to optical or computer processing to finally obtain remote sensing images that can be used for geometric positioning and image interpretation.

The origin of electromagnetic radiation sensors
With the popularization of household appliances and the rapid development of communication, it has indeed brought great convenience to people's lives. People's lifestyles have undergone tremendous changes, but the electromagnetic radiation pollution it brings is also becoming increasingly serious, gradually becoming the fourth largest pollution after water pollution, air pollution, and noise pollution. Due to the colorless, odorless, invisible, and intangible nature of electromagnetic radiation, people cannot detect this invisible pollution through their sensory organs. Research has confirmed that electromagnetic radiation exceeding a certain degree and a certain period of time can have varying degrees of impact on people.

The electromagnetic radiation sensor is composed of four basic components:
1. Collector: responsible for collecting electromagnetic wave energy radiated by ground targets. The specific components come in various forms, such as lens groups, reflector groups, etc

2. Detector: Its main function is to convert the collected electromagnetic radiation energy into chemical or electrical energy. Specific components include photosensitive films, phototubes, photosensitive and thermal detection components, resonant cavity resonators, etc

3. Processor: performs various processing on the converted signal, such as developing, fixing, signal amplification, transformation, correction, and encoding. The specific types of processors include photographic processing devices and electronic processing devices

4. Output device: a device for outputting information. The main types of output devices include scanning imagers, cathode ray tubes, television tubes, magnetic tape recorders, XY color inkjet recorders, etc.
